A Day In Hongdae, Seoul

I told myself that I was going to write this a long time ago, but I never got around to actually digging out the photos from that day. My friend Soo and I decided to meet in a popular city called Hongdae in Seoul for the first time.

This was our first time meeting after talking online for a few months, and because we both used to live in America, we got along well pretty quickly. We were both very excited about hanging out that day, and here below is a picture of my friend, Soo, who also has a blog here.

Soo had an article to write for a vegan magazine, as she is passionate about blogging about vegan-friendly food in South Korea, we decided to visit a café called My Juice. Though I’m not vegan, it was nice to educate myself on veganism and try some vegan smoothies – which tasted just like regular smoothies, if not better!

After staying at My Juice for over an hour taking photos, we decided to stroll around the streets and explore. Because I was working on a campaign with Daniel Wellington, I awkwardly sat down in the middle of the flower garden while Soo took the picture. It was definitely one of the most awkward situations I faced while taking a photo, but the result was worth it.

We also came across a cute, very tumblr, plant shop. We took a few snaps of me awkwardly standing in the middle of the shop.

Last but not least, we ended our day by going to another café called My Mug. We traded photos, worked on our blogs and just talked about life. The ice chocolate looked amazing and the atmosphere of the café was so relaxing as well.

In conclusion, the day was extremely fun. Though this was months ago, Soo and I still keep in touch and we are still waiting for the day to do this again.
